Clinical Observation Of Duhuojishengtang Decoction In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of oral Duhuo parasitic decoction for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency and tendon and blood stasis.Methods:Fifty-nine patients who met the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis(KOA)in the 2018 Osteoarthritis Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines and liver and kidney insufficiency and vascular stasis type knee palsy were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.There were 30 cases in the control group.The control group took oral glucosamine sulfate capsules,and the treatment group added Duhuo parasitic granules on the basis of the control group.The basic data of the patients were recorded for 4 weeks,and the improvement of the osteoarthritis index scale WOMAC score,pain visual analogue scale(VAS score),and TCM symptom scores were observed in the two groups before treatment,for 2 weeks,and for 4 weeks.Statistical software SPSS24.0 was used for statistical analysis of all observation data.Results:It can be seen from Table 1 that there is no significant difference in baseline data such as gender,age,BMI,etc.between the treatment group and the control group,all with P> 0.05,and the two groups are comparable.It can be seen from Table 2-4 that through repeated measurement analysis of variance for the VAS score,WOMAC score,and TCM symptom scores of the two groups before treatment,2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the results show that the intra-group,between-group,and interaction effects are respectively in the VAS score,The differences in WOMAC score and TCM syndrome scores were statistically significant,both were P <0.05;both the VAS score,WOMAC score,and TCM syndrome scores in each group changed with time,and the VAS score and WOMAC of the treatment group and the control group The difference in scores and TCM symptom score change trends are statistically significant,and there is an interaction between time and treatment effects.According to Table 5 and Figure 1-2,after 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.10%,and the total effective rate in the control group was83.33%.The total effective rate of the two groups was statistically different(P = 0.0459).Conclusion:Through the above data,it was found that Duhuo parasitic decoction and glucosamine sulfate can effectively treat knee osteoarthritis,and can improve patients' knee joint pain,swelling,stiffness,and daily activities.The treatment group is superior to the oral Western medicine group alone.No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment,and no abnormalities were found in liver and kidney function and blood routine before and after the two groups.Duhuo parasitic decoction is safe and stable in the treatment of liver and kidney insufficiency and knee stasis.
