| Objective To investigate the alteration and the clinical significance in the serum levels of progesterone,estradiol,human chorionic gonadotropin and carbohydrate antigen 125 in pregnant women with threatened miscarriageMethods The data in this study was collected retrospectively from the pregnant women admitted to our department dating from Oct 2016 to Jun 2018.The patients with early threatened miscarriage were selected as the observing subjects.At the same time,the pregnant women who went through a similar gestation and come to the same hospital for a regular pregnant screening were selected as the normal control group.The levels of progesterone,estradiol,human chorionic gonadotropin and glycoprotein 125 in serum were tested and compared at admission,1 week after,2 weeks after,and 4 weeks after.The correlation between progesterone,estradiol,human chorionic gonadotropin and glycoprotein 125 levels and pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with threatened abortion were analyzed.Results Serum CA-125 levels were detected in experimental and control groups.The serum CA-125 levels in the continuing pregnancy group and the inevitable abortion group were higher than that in normal control group at the time of admission(P<0.05).The interval was 1 week and 2 weeks.After 4 weeks,the serum CA-125 level were detected again.The serum CA-125 levels in the pregnant women of the continuing pregnancy group showed a downward trend.While as the serum CA-125 levels of the pregnant women in the inevitable abortion group continued to increase(P<0.05).Serum progesterone levels were detected in the two experimental groups and the normal control group.Serum progesterone levels in continuing pregnancy group and inevitable abortion group were lower than that in normal control group(P<0.05).Interval 1 week,2 Serum progesterone levels were measured again after 4 weeks,and the serum progesterone levels of pregnant women in the pregnant group showed an upward trend.There was no significant change in serum progesterone levels in the abortion group(P<0.05).Serum ?-HCG levels were detected in the two experimental groups and the normal control group,and the serum ?-HCG levels in pregnancy women with threatened miscarriage were lower than those in normal control group(P<0.05).After 2 weeks and 4 weeks,serum ?-HCG levels were detected again.The serum ?-HCG levels in the continuing pregnancy group and the inevitable abortion group showed an upward trend.The continuing pregnancy women in the abortion group were more likely to have elevated serum ?-HCG levels(P<0.05).The level of serum estradiol was also detected in the two experimental groups and the normal control group.The levels of serum estradiol in the two experimental groups were lower than that in normal control group(P<0.05).The following tests in 2 weeks and 4 weeks demonstrated that the levels of serum estrogen in women continuing pregnancy after treatment and control continue their trend of up-regulation,whenever,the levels of estrogen in women with inevitable miscarriage dropped down(P<0.05)Analysis the correlation between the predictive values of CA-125,P,?-HCG,estradiol and a group of three indicators and the pregnancy outcomes of the threatened abortion women,we got the result that the specificity of the combined detection of the three indicators'group was 100%,but the sensitivity was lower than that of the single test.Conclusion Monitoring the levels of serological markers(progesterone,human chorionic gonadotropin,glycoprotein 125)in pregnant women with threatened abortion can help assess the outcome of patients with abortion.Patients with threatened abortion with high serum P and HCG levels and low CA-125 levels have a better prognosis,and vice versa.Combined with progesterone,human chorionic gonadotropin,and glycoprotein 125,the serological markers were compared,and the specificity of the predicted outcome was superior to any single index. |
