A Vocabulary Study Of Xiang Di Cheng An

Xiang Di Cheng An is a compilation of local water conservancythat from late Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.The book consists of four volumes,c ontaining real,timely,abundant corpus,which is a rare research material of vocabulary.Conducting research on the vocabulary features of Xiang Di Cheng An has an importantsignificanc e to the development of Chinese vocabulary history and to the compilation o f dictionaries.At present,the vocabulary study of Xiang Di Cheng An is st ill blank.This paper employs context study method,comparative analysis me thod and synthetic method combined self-proves with circumstantial evidence to study and analysis the Ming and Qing Dynasty vocabulary,official document vocabulary,water cons ervancy vocabulary,difficult vocabulary of Xiang Di Cheng An.This text is divided into four parts to study Xiang Di ChengAn' s vocab ulary.The first part is introduction.The introduction mainly explains the Xiang Di Cheng An' s content,value and research status,significance,method.The second part is the study of Ming and Qing Dynasty vocabulary in Xiang Di Cheng An.The studystarts from two dimensions:one is Ming and Qing Dynasty vocabulary in Xiang Di Cheng An but excluded from Han Yu Da Ci Dian;one is Ming and Qing Dynasty vocabul ary in Xiang Di Cheng Anwhich can supplement citations to Han Yu Da Ci Dian.Vocabularystudy ofthis part mainly is to make a comparative study of recording condition of Ming and Qi ng Dynasty vocabulary in Xiang Di Cheng An and in Han Yu Da Ci Dian,this will facilitate the study of modern Chinese vocabulary and dictionary compilation.The third part is the study of official document vocabulary in Xiang Di Cheng An that from two levels of document types and document vocabulary.This part will help to understand the development of ancient official document types and the usage of official documentvocabulary.The forth part is the study of wa ter conservancy vocabulary in Xiang Di Cheng An,from the perspective that whether it enter the common vocabulary,explain those water conservancy voc abulary that not into the common vocabulary and sort out the vocabulary on the meaning of development of water conservancy that enter in the the commo n vocabulary.The study of this part is not only beneficial to the reader in understanding the meaning of water conservancy vocabulary to further unders tand the the meaning of the article,but also conducive to research the development ofmeaning in the process of specialist vocabulary enter int o common vocabulary.
