As a new means of education,flipped Classroom has been more and more popular at home and abroad.This kind of teaching mode is advantageous to the reasonable allocation of class time,changing the roles between teachers and students,changing the construction of a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,enhancing the students’ ability of autonomous learning,promoting the exchange of teacher and every student and greatly improving the effect of classroom teaching.Using the literature material method,questionnaire investigation method,observation method and the experiment method,this study from the perspective of college PE class specialized English teaching analyzes sports professional students’ English learning situation,tries to applied the flipped classroom concept to sports specialized English teaching,construct an effective mode of college PE class specialized English teaching.In order to improve the sports specialized students’ enthusiasm of learning English and teaching effect,this study provide the reference in the next flipped classroom of English teaching in colleges and universities.This paper puts forward to the necessity of introducing flipped classroom pattern to the sports specialized English teaching and further discusses the flipped classroom research status at home and abroad,the research purpose and research significance on the basis of researching English teaching situation in College sports majors.With the help of constructivism,second language acquisition theory and method of task,this study constructed flipped classroom teaching mode based on the characteristics of sports professional students.With English audio-visual elective courses of Shan Dong sports University,this study gives questionnaires to the object of study,designs the teaching process,evaluates the result of the practice,eventually comes to the conclusion and puts forward Suggestions.The conclusion of this study is: applying flipped classroom teaching model in English class of college sports professional has the feasibility and necessity and good design can obtains a better teaching effect.Through the comparison to the study attitude and study habits of sports management professional students of class 2 before and after the experiment,the study shows that flipped classroom teaching mode can effectively stimulates the sports specialized students’ English learning motivation and changes English-learning habits from passive learning into active learning.At the same time,flipped classroom promotes the communication and collaboration between teachers and students to make full use of class time.It also improves the teaching efficiency.In the comparison of students’ English abilities between the experimental group and the control group,Flipped classroom plays a significant role in improving the English level of sports professional students and increasing the use of related professional vocabulary and sentence patterns.It greatly improves students’ English communication skills.
