In recent decades,the development of teaching Chinese as a second language in our country is flourishing.But relatively,the audio-visual-oral teaching materials have been paid attention to for a short time.The compilation and publication of the audio-visual-oral teaching materials are insufficient.And the high-quality materials are lacking.With the development of society and the progress of science and technology,multimedia technology has been fully applied in TCSL classroom.The use of audio-visual teaching methods can provide students with a real environment of film and television language and let them experience the actual communication scene.It can also improve students' listening and speaking skills.For the time being,the research on audio-visual-oral teaching materials for TCSL is not mature enough and the research results are relatively few.The quality of audio-visual-oral teaching materials is also uneven.So the publication and construction of audio-visual-oral textbooks for TCSL need more systematic analysis.This paper chooses the Stories of the Chinese and Scenario Chinese and Home with Kids as the research objects and compares the differences between the text and the video textbooks of them.These three textbooks are evaluated objectively and systematically.In addition,three textbooks and audio-visual teaching methods were investigated to TCSL teachers and foreign students respectively.Combined with the results of comparative analysis and questionnaire survey,we try to make an attempt to provide some suggestions on the compilation of audio-visual-oral teaching materials in TCSL and contribute to the textbooks and class of TCSL.The whole paper consists of five parts:Introduction mainly explains the origin of the topic,the research objects and methods.Also,this paper reviews the existing research results in three aspects:the theory of teaching materials preparation and evaluation,the theory of audio-visual-oral teaching materials and methods.Chapter one is mainly about the comparative analysis of these three teaching materials including writing style,text content,vocabulary,grammar,exercises and cultural knowledge.And we objectively evaluate the characteristics and shortcomings of the three textbooks.Chapter two compares and analyzes the content of these three video teaching materials including the general situation of the video teaching materials and the content of the video teaching materials.And we objectively evaluate the characteristics and shortcomings of the three video textbooks.Chapter three analyzes the results of questionnaire survey about these three textbooks and audio-visual teaching method and evaluates the three textbooks comprehensively.Chapter four bases on the results of analysis and questionnaire survey,we try to putforward some suggestions on compiling audio-visual-oral teaching materials and using audio-visual teaching methods for TCSL.
