This paper investigates the public Chinese class of Ma Chung University by investigating the questionnaire and classroom observation.The survey is divided into teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire,which includes curriculum,teacher situation,classroom teaching methods and evaluation,the advantages and disadvantages of related materials,students learn Chinese focus and difficulties and so on.Through the questionnaire interview,combined with classroom practice and observation,in-depth study,to find the problems in the public Chinese class in the Ma Chung University and to make recommendations on the existing problems.There are four chapters in this paper,the first chapter is the introduction,which includes the basis of topic selection,research summary,research purpose,research methods and research steps.The second chapter is the background of the teaching of public Chinese in the Ma Chung University,which includes the development of the Chinese language teaching system in the Chinese language,the general situation of Malang and the Ma Chung Universiti,and the current situation of the teaching of public Chinese.The third chapter is based on the investigation,analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials,teacher situation and Ma Chung University of public Chinese teaching situation.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the problems of public Chinese teaching in Ma Chung University.The survey results show that there are several problems:First of all,for the Ma Chung University,the important issue of curriculum is the credit and school hours do not match the problems,seriously affect the enthusiasm of students to learn Chinese.Teachers in the text,due to special historical reasons caused by the Indonesian Chinese teachers of the fault,in terms of age,gender,treatment there is room for improvement;Chinese textbooks on the use of Chinese teaching materials,and the Indonesian local situation is not ideal;Teaching methods and more to the traditional model-imitation as the main way,especially in the voice learning stage,a lot of practice and correction of the lack of effective teaching methods to keep students interested in learning.In view of the above,the author proposes to improve from the following aspects:First,to improve the proportion of credits in the public Chinese class;Second,to speed up the development of Chinese teachers and the introduction of the process;Third,to promote the Indonesian localization of teaching materials,Indonesia's public Chinese curriculum outline and teaching materials content;Fourth,through teacher training to promote the teaching concept of the update and improve the teacher's teaching ability to improve.
