A Practice Report On The Translation For The 14^th CAEXPO Production Capacity Cooperation Forums

This practice report is based on the author's experience as an intern translator in the Development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,mainly involving the translation and work experience during the 14th CAEXPO Production Capacity Cooperation Forums,including China-Philippines Production Capacity and Investment Cooperation Forum,China-Vietnam Production Capacity Cooperation Briefing,China-Cambodia Production Capacity and Investment Cooperation Forum and the 2nd Joint Working Group Meeting of Lancang-Mekong Countries on Production Capacity Cooperation and so on.Being an intern translator,the responsibilities ranges from translation to arrangement for all translation materials related to the meeting,including participants handbook,instruction slogans,forum activity update sheets and concept document.In this practice report,four aspects will be discussed:introduction of practice,contents of practice,case study and professional translator's requirements.And thus experience summaries will be demonstrated from three aspects:political awareness,terminology base,and career skills.
