This report is based on the author's experience of interpreting for a supervision workshop in her university.Through her attentive preparations, accurate rendering and thoughtful coordination, she accomplished the interpreting task successfully and won approval from both the participants and the commissioner. In this report, she gives a detailed description of the task and the process of its fulfilment,as well as the clients' feedback.Based on these, she argues on issues of the interpreter's visibility, which manifests as "gatekeeper","co-interlocutor",and "mediator".The report mainly consists of four chapters apart from the Introduction and the Conclusion. In these chapters, the author describes her task requirements and conditions, gives a brief survey of theoretical issues on the interpreter's visibility, illustrates the manifestation of interpreter's visibility with her own examples in her interpreting task and makes her reflections on the task after it was completed.Although previous researches have affirmed interpreters' visibility on many aspects, the author of the report makes her contribution to the analysis with her own interpreting strategies and approaches during the supervision workshop.Several cases of close relevance are given to show the three manifestations of interpreters' visibility, including their role as gatekeeper of information,as co-interlocutor in a talk, and as a mediator for social interactions. She also points out some weaknesses that call for improvement, such as the lack of sound knowledge of psychology and cultural sensitivity, which are discussed in the last section of the report.
