Research On The Relationship Among Personality Traits,Adult Attachment And Love Satisfaction Of College Students

Objective: In order to understand the quality of contemporary college students' love,explore the personality traits of college students,the influence of adult attachment on the quality of love,and the relationship among them;explore the influence of college student personality traits on the communication behavior in love.Methodology: RUPS,ECR and NEO-FFI were used to evaluate college students.A total of 550 questionnaires were distributed,of which 518 were valid for the RUPS and NEO-FFI.The effective number of copies was 455,and SPSS was used for statistical analysis of the data.Through laboratory experiments,35 pairs of college students were set up scenes to conduct communication experiments,score their communication behavior,and explore the relationship between Big Five personality and communication behavior.Results:(1)The boys' love quality score was significantly higher than that of the female students(p<0.05);the postgraduates' love quality scores were significantly higher than the undergraduate students(p<0.05);the high age group's love quality scores were significantly higher than the low age groups(p<0.05)..There was a significant difference in scores of neuroticism and aptitude between male and female college students(p<0.05);there was a significant difference in open personality scores between urban students and rural students(p<0.05);due diligence between undergraduates and postgraduates There was a significant difference in the sex dimension scores(p<0.05).The attachment anxiety dimension score of the low age group was significantly higher than that of the high age group(p<0.05).(2)There was a significant negative correlation between the neurotic personality dimension and the quality of love(p<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between the extraversion and conscientious personality dimensions and the quality of love(p<0.05).Both attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance scores were significantly negatively correlated with the quality of love(p<0.05).(3)Age,love time,extraversion and conscientiousness have a positive predictive effect on the quality of love.Neuroticism,attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance have a negative predictive effect on the quality of love.(4)There was no significant difference in the scores of constructive communication between male and female students.The score of destructive communication behavior of female students was significantly higher than that of male students(p<0.05).The neuroticism of male students had a negative predictive effect on constructive communication behavior.Conclusion:(1)The quality of love is different in terms of gender,age,education,and love time.Some dimensions of Big Five personality differ in terms of gender,place of residence,and academic record;attachment avoidance differs in age.(2)The extraversion and conscientious personality traits in Big Five personality have a positive effect on romantic relationships,and neurotic personality has a negative effect on romantic relationships.(3)Attachment avoidance affects the quality of love through the mediating effect of extraversion and conscientious personality.Attachment anxiety influences the quality of love through the mediating role of the neurotic personality dimension.(4)The neurotic dimension in boys' big five personality has a negative predictive effect on positive communicative behavior in love.
