Adult Attachment refers to"the intense and enduring emotion bond between individual with the current partner". Unlike the infant attachment happening between infant and mother, adult attachment can happen between individual and parent, friends, lover, teem, organization or even abstract figures such as God. The researches on adult attachment have thrived since mid-1980s, which have infant and mother attained burgeoning achievements, but there is little in China. Using Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory, Eysenck Personality Questionaire for Adults and simple Coping Inventory as tools, this research explores the type of adult attachment, personality traits and coping styles and their relationships of 400 college students coming form the Northeast Normal University. Results show that:1. The score of attachment avoidance was significantly higher than other similar researches.2. There were no sexual and city-country differences of College's adult attachment.3. Confronted with stress, colleges of different personality would chose different coping ways.4. There was significant negative correlation between coping and attachment anxiety, the higher the attachment anxiety, the lower score of coping. And attachment anxiety was significantly correlated positively with negative coping. This reminds us that higher score of attachment anxiety, the more negative of the way of coping.5. The coping style was significantly correlated negatively with Neuroticism of personality traits and correlated positively with intro-extra version. That is to say, being Neuroticism means unadaptive of coping, And extrovert one's coping is much more adaptive. The significant positive correlation between positive coping and intro-extra version showed that the extraversion one will much likely to adopt more positive coping strategy.
