446 college students were measured by Intimate Relations Experienced scale(ECR), Interpersonal Trust Scale(ITS) and the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) to investigate the condition of their adult attachment,interpersonal trust and personality traits. The study also explores the relationship among adult attachment, interpersonal trust and personality traits of college students. The conclutions are as follows:(1) The attachment avoidance and attachment anxiety of college students is a little lower than the middle level. The secure attaehment accounts for the largest proportion, the second is preoccupied attachment, the third is dissmissing attachment, and the fearful attachment accounts for the lowest proportion.(2)There are significant difference in the demographic variables of adult attachment, interpersonal trust, and personality traits of college students.(3) There are significant differences in interpersonal trust of different attachment types of college students.(4)Thereare no significant correlationship between interpersonal trust and attachment avoidance, attachment anxiety. There are significant correlationship between personality traits and attachment avoidance, attachment anxiety.(5) Adult attachment can predict personality traits on some degree.
