The Relationships Of College Studens’ View On Love And Marriage, Personality Trait And Adult Attachment

This study adopts the research of undergraduates’ views on marriage and love(CMLCQ)，EPQ-RSC，adult attachment scale(AAS-1996revised edition) of411undergraduate students from xuchanguniversity, Henan university, xinxiang college and Zhengzhou university, the writer is purpose oninvestigating the present situation and characteristics on their opinions about love and sex in thequestionnaire survey, and discussing the significant differences on the demographic variables.At the sametime, the writer explored the relation between personality traits, adult attachment and views on love andmarriage, and explored the personality traits, adult attachment’s predictive effect to views on love andmarriage. Finally this essay gives some countermeasures and Suggestions.The sample is collected with themethod of random sampling. Then data processing is using spss19.0and excel software, while statisticalmethods including descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, non-parametric test, correlationanalysis and stepwise regression analysis.Results showed that:(1) Views on love and marriage of college students are in the middle level but conservative.(2) Different grade students’ opinions about love and marriage show significant difference. Thereis a significant difference on singletons or non-singletons in their opinions about love and marriage.There is extremely significant difference among gender and major category in their opinions about love andmarriage.(3) There is significant difference in the family location with students in their opinions aboutconcept of marital loyalty.(4) There is significant difference in parents’ marital status with college students in their opinionsabout marriage tendency.(5) College students’ opinions about love and all dimensions have relevance with personalitytraits,adult attachment and all dimensions of them.(6)College students’ personality and adult attachment have certain prediction effect to views onlove and marriage.
