The author conducts an on-site simulated interpreting on interview,which shows a possible variety of factors and problems in interpreting practices.The main content is about the international education,in which the author interprets for the host who is author's classmate and the foreign guest who works in an international school.In-depth communications and exchanges about it are shared in the interview.The author has done some reflection and research on the transcript of the interview.The author finds that task preparation plays a vital role in consecutive interpretation,because it can be beneficial to the interpreter' performance.It is necessary for interpreter to listen to and analyze the recordings repeatedly after the interview.Only in this way can the author make a summary of problems and find out solutions to them.The author also finds that frequent practice is a necessary part for a qualified interpreter.By reviewing and analyzing the interpretation,the author makes a summary of problems in the interview: redundancy and ineffective note-taking,analyzes them and puts forward the solutions,which provides help and experience for major-related students.
