This study focus mainly on investing a utility models how proactive personality and work/job engagement affect the well-being of employee in Information Technology. Adopting Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) and Multiple Happiness Questionnaire (MHQ) as tools, taking 212 employees selected from Shandong and Shanghai, then analyze the results by using SPSS 17.0 and LISREL 8.70 software. A structural model to judge how proactive personality and work engagement affect the well-being of employee is proposed. LISREL 8.70 software is used to fit and test data, and the fitting results are satisfied. The result shows that:(1) Employees proactive personality can significantly predict their well-being and work engagement s dimensions.(2) Employees vigor of work engagement can significantly predict psychology well-being; Employees absorption of work engagement can significantly predict their well-being; Work engagement is an intermediary between proactive personality and well-being.Based on the results, the enterprise can from staff proactive personality and job involvement, by increasing the proactive personality and job engagement level of employees, to improve well-being of employees, which makes the happiness enterprise. |
