Research On The Donation Movement Of Gansu During The Period Of Full-scale Anti-Japanese War

After the "July 7th Incident," the country entered a period of full-scale war of resistance against Japan.All walks of life in the country have taken active actions to donate money to save the country,set up various back-up organizations,and continuously launched contributors to encourage morale ahead.The donation campaign in Gansu was carried out with the full-scale war of resistance,and it also permeated the entire period of the war of resistance against Japan.The Gansu donation campaign was mainly initiated by Gansu Province's public anti-adversary support organization.At the same time,the Ganmin Branch of the Youth League of the three people's principles,the Gansu Provincial New Life Movement Committee and the Gansu Provincial Women's Self-defense Warrior's Committee Committee and other organizations also responded,mobilizing the 29 th Army,one dollar a day,and honoring donations etc.After the war of resistance entered into the phase of stalemate,after the establishment of the National Council for Relieving the War of Resistance Against Japan,there was a unified leading body for the national donation campaign,and Gansu Branch of the National Association for the Salvation of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was also established in Gansu,but the Gansu branch of the donation campaign did not take place in Gansu.In the name of activities,the provincial and municipal organs and agencies form the appropriate committee leadership.At this stage,Gansu launched a series of large-scale donation campaigns such as cultural donation and recruitment of footwear and socks.Gansu's donation campaign is consistent with the whole country,but it also shows its own characteristics.The leaders and groups of various organs have offered enthusiastic contributions to promote the idea;instead of using a fur as a vest,they send cotton-padded clothes to the frontline,and they can carry out donation campaigns according to local conditions.The Gansu army troops movement is an integral part of the national anti-Japanese war and has made active contributions to the war of resistance.It has also left an indelible memory in the history of the Gansu people.
