The Study On The Addposition System Of Shangqiu Dialect In Henan Province

This article studies the addposition system of Shangqiu dialect(including prepositions,postpositions and circumpositions)in a relatively comprehensive and meticulous way from the perspective of typology.Apart from integrating synchronic study and diachronic study by combining the "Three-Plane" theory and the grammaticalization theory,this article also conducts internal comparison between synonymous prepositions.For the multifunctional prepositions in Shangqiu dialect,this article tries to reveal their grammaticalization process and category characteristics through diachronic study and cross-dialect comparative study.This article has five chapters.Chapter One:introduction to the general situation,the dialect and its phonetic system of Shangqiu.Discussion on the necessity and probability of the study of Shangqiu dialect's prepositions through the summary of the research status of Shangqiu dialect and its prepositions.Chapter Two:4 major classifications of the prepositions in Shangqiu dialect according to different semantics:Time locality,object scope,manner,reason and purpose.Subclasses including initial prepositions,positional preposition,directional prepositions and so on.Explanation from the aspects of internal comparison and grammaticalization process as well as the perspective of semantics,syntax and pragmatics.Chapter Three:Study on the cross-dialect comparison and grammaticalization process of the multifunctional prepositions in Shangqiu dialect,including " Lai",“Zhang”and“Jiao”.Chapter Four:Discussion on issues such as the definition and classification of postpositions and circumpositions.Description on the systems of the postpositions and circumpositions of Shangqiu's dialect.Analysis on the category characteristics of the postpositions and circumpositions of Shangqiu's dialect through the comparison of Mandarine,Suzhou dialect and Shangqiu dialect.Chapter Five:Summary of the innovation and inadequacy of this article and issues to be further studied.
