With the rapid development of network technology in China,the traditional forms of communication have significant changes.Foreign student in China are also influenced by many external environments in terms of lifestyle and language learning.Their daily communication in China is changing from face-to-face communication to intermediary communication as a Wechat communication platform.These breakthroughs in science and technology enable them to gain quick access to local culture and language and to promote inter-personal and intercultural exchanges.The emergence of Wechat software not only brings convenience for Chinese users,but also helps overseas students in China to accomplish with practicing Chinese,it plays an active role in their Chinese learning.As a new social platform,its "grounded atmosphere" has been welcomed by Chinese learners.Through research we found that if a Chinese learner can use Wechat social platform scientifically and effectively,his Chinese proficiency will be improved faster,which objectively promotes the global development of teaching Chinese.The research content of this paper is based on the fact that Chinese students use several different functions of Wechat to assist Chinese language learning.In this paper,we surveyed60 foreign students from Kazakhstan with middle and advanced Chinese level those who came to China study.The investigation based on their daily Wechat usage situation including:“General communication function”,“Moments communication function” and “Public account communication function”.Analyze how these three different forms of communication affect on international student's Chinese learning and compare the difference of Wechat usage between intermediate and advanced language learners.The purpose of the research is to form an autonomous Chinese learning method based on the Wechat platform under the traditional Chinese teaching mode making it more efficient.For the students how to make better use of Wechat platform for self-study Chinese put forward specific recommendations.The Chinese language self-study which based on Wechat platform can form a systematic learning method,and this method will make the whole process of learning Chinese become more relaxed and efficient.In the aspect strategy for Chinese language self-study,this thesis has the reference value particularly for non-target language environment students.
