A Research On Habermas's Public Sphere Theory In New Media Context

Habermas's public sphere theory mainly includes that,after bourgeois was emerged and realized,that public authorities were able to sabotage capitalism society,then individual political public sphere was held by bourgeois through traditional massive media.It plays against public authorities and influences public agendas.Considering forms of media are profoundly changed nowadays,this theory ought to be researched in new context simultaneously.This thesis firstly combs research background and situation of public sphere,then explains historical evolution and current availability of it,which leads to connections between public sphere and both traditional massive media as well as new media.At last this thesis discusses the either theoretical possibilities or practical ones of reconstructing public sphere in new media context.
