| It is worthy to study Shanghai and Hongkong as two mirror cities.These two cities are a pair of shining stars on the coast of China.In recent years,the "material culture research" has been very popular.Wang Anyi and Dong Qizhang,as the two representati-ve writers of the cities,the characteristics of material writing are particularly prominent in their novels.This article will use the "Ge wu,and"Fetishism" as the unique angle to analyse the two text,and use the close reading to evaluate the creation of the two writers’s novels.The material of city is neither great scourges nor the object which should be refrained.Traditionally,when talking about material writing,researchers always focus on those writers who criticize material or just criticize the fetish narration.It seems that substances can only be regarded consumptive products or symbols,but we have forgotten the material is regard as“Ming Wu”(名物)in classical cultural resources.What matters to our life is material rather than the noise of ideas.The concept "Ge wu" come from the chapter in "book of Rites"-The Great Learning.lt means "People acquire knowledge from investigation of knowledge".This article used the understanding of the "Ge wu" used by Jin Shengtan to comment on the novel "The Water Margin",which is summed up as a way to realize some kind of insight by observing and writing "the things" in life.In other words,the "Ge wu" in material writing is observing "the things",and turning the "matter of reason" to "the principle of human" and "the principle of world"."fetishism" is a concept borrowed from psychoanalysis.Psychoanalysis focuses on the operation of desire on the fetish object,for example,what is the cause of the desire of the subject,and how the identity of the "thing" is realized.The "fetishism"derived from the "fetishism" is criticized by Marx’s doctrine,which generally reveals the truth of fetishism from the level of social production,such as the secret of the hidden social relations production and reproduction.The "fetishism" in literature is influenced by psychoanalysis and Marx doctrine.Love,consumption,goods and people are entangled with each other,forming complex.It focuses on how literature writes about the curiosity and worship of matter,and reveals some mental absence or illusion of something in this mode.The introduction of the article is a brief overview of the material turns in the theoretical circle and a literature review,pointing out that material writing is a very creative space,and discussed why Wang Anyi and Dong Qizhang should be studied as the object of the article.The theoretical framework of the full text is "Ge wu" and "fetishism".They come from Chinese classical resources and western psychology theory respectively.By examining the novel creation of Wang Anyi and Dong Qizhang,we have reason to think that these two key words can be used as the starting point to explore the works of the two people.The first chapter clarifies the concept of "objects" and "fetishism" in this article,and analyzes the "objects" and "fetishism" in some of the works.The emphasis is on how the "objects" and "fetishism" are displayed in the works of Dong Qizhang and Wang Anyi.The second chapter focuses on Wang Anyi’s novels-The scent of Heaven and The Song of Everlasting Regret.And the concepts of "Ge wu" and "fetishism" are regard as angles of view.The story of The scent of Heaven happened in the Shanghai at the end of the Ming Dynasty.Shanghai,which is the space for material writing.And"fantasy "objects" in together is the "creation science" and "Heavenly Creations"."Ge Wu " is a continuation of "material Lyric"in the book of Shen Congwen.It is related to labor,manual and bottom people,and it is a material writing with temperature.The analysis of the song of long hate is discussed from two angles of "everyday objects"and "urban space".It is pointed out that the material description of Wang Anyi is actually related to the various kinds of space in the city’s lanes and apartments,and closely connected with her love for the city.The third chapter takes Dong Qizhang as the center,with three points:"thinking of things","desire for fetishism" and "material and space".In Dong Qizhang’s exploration of "the reason of things",we have seen the relationship between "things"and history and time.Behind material writing is the writer’s thinking about the fate of human beings.His narration of fetishism has its own characteristics.Although most of them are popular,they are connected with their feelings and memories.The space in Dong Qizhang’s novels is metaphorical.In his writing,"ibrary" and "Museum"become the intersection of matter and spirit.In the postscript part,the author points out that both Wang and Dong have mentioned Heavenly creations.And Shanghai" and "Hongkong" actually have a kind of corresponding mirror relationship.In the present time,the modernity of the city has become a kind of homogenized synonym.The creation of Dong Qizhang and Wang Anyi highlights the specificity of "things" and its relevance to human emotions. |
