This article takes the 2015-2017 session of the Confucius Institute Volunteer Teacher at Bulacan State University of Philippine as the research object,and they were analyzed through questionnaires,interviews,and self-observation,and from three aspects,such as teaching environment,vocational skills,and teaching objects.It aims to investigated the teaching work of the Bulacan Confucius Institute adapted to the situation and understand the problems encountered by the volunteers of Confucius Institute in teaching work,then to analyze the causes of these problems.The problems are mainly reflected in three aspects: First,in the teaching environment,volunteer teachers do not understand the teaching philosophy of the Philippines,do not adapt to the backward teaching facilities,and are not accustomed to frequent holiday arrangements;second,there is a shortage of volunteer teachers in professional skills.The lack of Chinese ontology knowledge,teaching experience,teaching methods,teaching organization and classroom management skills are not strong;Third,in teaching subjects,volunteer teachers generally believe that students learn Chinese learning motivation is not enough,students learn bad habits,students respect The teacher ' s awareness is not strong.In response to the above issues,this paper proposes the following three recommendations.First,based on the volunteer teachers themselves,they should improve their foreign language skills to reduce communication barriers.Second,they must continuously enrich their professional knowledge and improve their teaching skills.Finally,they must establish crosscultural communication awareness and reduce cultural conflicts.Second,the perspective of the volunteer project management should try to select volunteers with a high degree of match with job requirements.When training the volunteers,The management party should train the volunteers in different categories according to the situation of volunteers.Third,from the point of view of the Confucius Institutes and Cooperative Universities,colleges and universities should,in light of the situation of the Confucius Institute,properly set course content,appropriately increase the introduction of the culture of the host country of the Confucius Institute,and enable students to understand the country's culture in advance;The awareness of teachers of Chinese international education students increases their opportunities for practical teaching and improves their teaching skills.In the end,the former volunteers should be strengthened to connect with students in the school,establish information sharing platforms,and achieve resource sharing.
