A Survey Of Cross-cultural Adaptation About Volunteer Chinese Teacher In Thailand

With the economic globalization develop deeply,economic exchanges between countries become more and more frequent,the language is the most important tool among of human,the important conditions of countries contact is learning related countries' language.China status becomes more and more important in the world and obtain more speaking right as well,because of that,Chinese spread widely in the world and Chinese-teaching business develop in full swing.The South-east Asia countries are friendly to China,especially Thailand.Whether economic exchange or cultural communication,China and Thailand have long history,so the two countries are “family”.Hanban send lots of volunteer to Thailand every year and everyone of them arrived in Thailand with the duty of teaching Chinese and spread Chinese culture,they become the main force spreading Chinese and it is necessary to know volunteers teaching and cross-cultural adaptation situation at aboard.The thesis is consist of introduction,main body and epilogue.The part of introduction is made up of research purpose,research meaning subject background and related research summarize,as well as research ways and content.Besides,In this part,i made some works that define the concept.The main body is consist of three parts.The first part,design the questionnaire,include respondent,survey methods and survey content.The content is made up of personal basic information,social cultural adaptation,mental adaptation,work adaptation and life satisfaction;The second part,analyze the survey results in detail,this part is very important in the thesis,and there is a summarize in the end of the chapter in order to becoming sharpness and methodize;The third part,offering proposal about improving capacity of volunteer Chinese teacher.The suggest are that volunteers should give play to subjective initiative and blend in the different cultural environment;Besides,related people should play an important role in the process of selection and manage.The last one part is epilogue,in this part,collating of results and discover that volunteers' cross-cultural adaptation is good in Thailand,but there are more inelasticity exist in work and daily life,as well as stating the defective and deficiency in the end.
