A Survey On Chinese Teaching In The Bhiksu University Of Sri Lanka

With the continuous development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of its international status,China has received more and more attention,and Chinese culture has also attracted the attention of people of different skin colors.As the most used language in the world,Chinese is also heating up with the development of China.More and more people have joined the upsurge of learning Chinese.Sri Lanka has maintained a friendly and close relationship with China since ancient times.Naturally,it will not miss the opportunity to learn Chinese.In recent years,the number of Chinese who have started to learn Chinese in Sri Lanka has continued to increase.Chinese language teaching has developed very well in Sri Lanka.In this article,the author used the opportunity of the Chinese teacher volunteers from April2017 to January 2018 to teach at the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka,and conducted research on the status quo of Chinese language teaching at the University of Sri Lanka.“Bhiksu” is actually a transliteration of Sanskrit “bhiksu”.In Buddhism,it refers to the monks and monks.So Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka that is a special university where only monk college students learn.In recent years,although the study of the general college students' Chinese teaching has gradually increased and improved,there is almost no research on the status quo of Chinese teaching for college students of the monk.Therefore,through the author's practical experience,this article obtained first-hand information on the status quo of Chinese language teaching at the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.Through the curriculum of the Chinese language teaching in the school,teaching materials,teachers,learners,hardware and software facilities,and Chinese culture promotion etc.aspects,Through questionnaires,individual interviews,case studies,and other methods,we have conducted in-depth investigations and studies to find out the problems in the Chinese language teaching at the monk university in recent years,and proposed some suggestions for the problems,so as to attract more domestic and foreign scholars to pay attention.The Sri Lankan monks are a special group for learning Chinese.It has made up for the lack of research on the Chinese teaching of monk groups in the process of Chinese language communication and development in Sri Lanka.It has provided some references for Chinese teachers and researchers in the future,and also provided conditions and lessons for later learning to better learn Chinese in Sri Lanka.The development and effective promotion have opened wider and broader roads,thereby promoting more vigorous and comprehensive development of Chinese language teaching.
