Comparison Of The Chinese Teaching Situation Between Local Teachers And Chinese Teachers At The University Of Kelaniya Sri Lanka

Research and survey will focus on local Chinese teachers and Chinese nationality teachers language teaching,develop teaching methods.And find out which teachers can give best outcome and should be strengthened.In Sri Lanka two major universities offer Chinese language and cultural programs short term and long term.There are many students currently studying in those universities following these courses.University of Kelaniya is the one of the major university,but most of students after graduation they can't full fill the job roles due to lack of language proficiency.So this article taking University of Kelaniya as an example and basis of research methods as questionnaires,classroom observation and teachers-students interview.This research mainly consists four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter mainly discusses the background of the selected topic,the significance of the topic,and introduce the investigation purpose and research methods.Second chapter of this research describe situation of the Chinese teaching in University of Kelaniya,including the history of Chinese teaching and the analysis of the local and native Chinese teachers teaching in University of Kelaniya with amount,educational background,culture background,assume of course and etc.Third chapter will describe difference between Chinese nationality teachers teachings and local teachers teachings in the University,based on the preparation of teaching,teaching methods,teaching process and teaching materials.Fourth chapter is about survey review between Chinese and local teachers and plan regarding compliment responses.
