With the rapid development of the information society,people's demand for emotion is increasing day by day.Under the guidance of emotional design,the field of product design has made attention to the emotional needs and emotional experiences of people,and has made remarkable achievements.On the contrary,under the background of standardized test,there is a common phenomenon of English teaching in primary school,which is the phenomenon of "strengthen knowledge and ignore emotion",which results in the problem of learners' lack of learning drive.In order to better focus on learners' emotional experience and emotional needs in the teaching process,realize teaching English learner centered,the study introduces the concept of emotional design to explore how emotion as an effective design element integrated into teaching to arouse the positive emotions and improve the enthusiasm of the students.The research is mainly divided into three parts: literature analysis,frame construction and case study.At the beginning of the study,the study on emotional and emotional design at home and abroad was analyzed,which laid a foundation for the follow-up research.Based on the analysis of the feasibility and necessity of emotional design,combined with the emotional design philosophy and English subject core accomplishment,the study constructs the emotional design framework and operation model of English teaching in primary school,and puts forward the corresponding design essentials according to the emotional design characteristics of each level.In the part of case study,the article" What would you like?”(PEP edition)for case design object,design cases in the instinct level,behavior level and reflective level,and then carry out the implementation,and then collect the corresponding data in the implementation process through classroom observation and questionnaire survey to evaluate the implementation of the case.The study shows that the emotional design of English teaching in primary school can effectively improve the students' emotional experience and learning outcome.In the instinct level design,bright color and vivid picture of the visual learning content,can meet the aesthetic needs of learners,stimulate positive emotional experience,and reduce the difficulty of learning content awareness,improve the learning interest andthe understanding level of knowledge;In the behavior level design,the teaching situation meet students' experience,lively,interesting and knowledge embedded in,the interpersonal environment relaxed and harmonious,can arouse the learners' emotional resonance and improve the learning process satisfaction and sense of achievement;In the reflection level design,a variety of assignments and feedback can effectively arouse the learners' deep emotional experience,promote learners' thinking activities,train ground thinking and learning habit.
