An Analysis On The Differences Between The Phonetics Of Chinese And Dungan Language From The Aspect Of Loan Words

Dungan language originated from Chinese north west dialects.As a result of developing in the Central Azia,Dungan language has its own distinctive fetures,and Dungan phonetic system also has changes that has a close connection with loan words in Dungan language.From the history,Dungan people communicated with different nationalities and so their language took up a lot of loan words.Dungan loan words mainly came from 4 languages,there are Arabian and Persian,Russian and Turkic(Kyrgyz).In a different period some words of these languages got into the Dungan language.Moreover,loan words have a influence for Dungan phonetic system.This work from Chinese comparison standpoint did the research of Dungan phonetic.First chapter is an introduction.It introduces Dungan language evolution,the aim and scope,the significance and value,the methods of the research and the source of the corpus.Second chapter is a literature review.Fist,it makes a review on Dungan language in general.Second,it explores the research of Dungan language in China,then out of China.Third it explores the studies about Dungan phonetic,vocabulary and loanwords.Third chapter is a Dungan phonetic system.In this chapter it describes about Dungan phonetic system in detail.It considers Dungan alphabet,sounds and phonemes,the definition of consonants and vowels in Dungan phonetic system.There are some examples with International Phonetic Alphabet and translation in Chinese.Moreover,it was mentioned about Dungan tones.Fourth chapter is loanwords phonetic modification.Which is Dungan loanword’s original language? What phonetic modification do they have and where is their difference.It was realized the analyze if loanwords phonetic modification and reasons of them,influence to Dungan phonetic system.
