With the enhancement of China's economic strength,Chinese education has also developed very well overseas.While teaching Chinese as a second language prospered overseas,Chinese teaching problems have emerged a lot.This is particularly manifested in the low interest of students in Chinese language learning,the difficulty in maintaining Chinese class discipline,and the poor effectiveness of Chinese teaching.Based on the MI theory,a wealth of diversified teaching activities were designed to arouse students' interest in learning and improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching.At present,there is not much research on teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the MI theory,and there is little research on teaching Chinese in Indonesia based on this theory.Based on the MI theory,the author aims at Elyon Christian school junior high school students and designs a series of Chinese teaching activities and conducts a one-year teaching practice.At the same time,in order to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of teaching activities,the author designed a number of diversified classroom management programs based on the MI theory.The practical results show that the application of Multiple Intelligences Theory to Chinese teaching is effective in helping students to improve their enthusiasm for learning and improve teaching effectiveness.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter briefly describes the background and significance of the research,introduces the literature review of the multiple language intelligence theory in second language teaching,and expounds the main contents and research methods of this study.The second chapter summarizes the main content and characteristics of MI theory,introduces the current situation of Chinese teaching in noble Christian schools,and analyzes the reasons.The third chapter is based on the theory of MI theory and designs multiple classroom activities for Chinese teaching in junior middle school.In order to guarantee the practical effect of classroom activities,the author provides a diversified classroom management program for Chinese as a foreign language.The fourth chapter is the practical application of the theory of MI theory in Chinese teaching in Elyon Christian school.According to the learning situation of the grade 8 students,the author combined with the MI theory to select appropriate classroom activities for the teaching content.The author selected a typical teaching example from the three sections of vocabulary,grammar,and discourse.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,summarizes the main points of this paper,analyzes the limitations of the practice research,and proposes suggestions for follow-up research.
