With the rapid development of our country's economy,more and more people have migrated from rural areas to work in cities.The number of migrant population has gradually increased,so that the number of migrant children has increased.Due to the tremendous changes in the living environment,the issue of adaptation for migrant children has also become increasingly prominent.This study focuses on migrant children and conducts a comprehensive study from three aspects,respectively are family(familial socioeconomic status,family intimacy),personality(self-esteem),and school(school social adaptation).On this basis established a chain mediation model.This study has important theoretical and practical values for improving family intimacy,raising the level of self-esteem,promoting the social adaptability of migrant children in school,and then increasing their mental health.In this paper,390 migrant children from three schools of peasant children are selected as subjects.Use "Family Social Economic Status Questionnaire","Family Intimacy and Adaptability Questionnaire","Self-Esteem Scale" and "School Social Adaptation Questionnaire" to conduct surveys.Using statistical methods such as correlation and regression to examine the relationship between family socio-economic status,family intimacy,self-esteem and school social adaptation of migrant children.The conclusions are as follows:(1)In the primary school of middle and senior grades,the migrant children's development characteristics of family socio-economic status,family intimacy,self-esteem,and school social adaptability are: At the grade level,the social adaptation of sixth grade students is significantly lower than that of the third grade,fourth grade and fifth grade.In terms of gender,girls' family intimacy,self-esteem and school social adaptation are significantly better than boys'.(2)In the primary school of middle and senior grades,the migrant children's family socio-economic status is predicting family intimacy positively,predicting students' social adaptation positively,and predicting student self-esteem positively;Family intimacy positively predicts student social adaptation and positively predicts student self-esteem.Student self-esteem positively predicts students' school social adaptation.(3)Family intimacy and student's self-esteem are chain-mediated variables that family socio-economic status influence school social adaptation.
