The Semantic Research Of Russian Temporal Idioms

Idioms are cultural treasure of the Russian language,incarnations of Russian nationality,and an integral part of the system.Time is one of the commonalities of the language of mankind throughout the world.Time is an object independent of the will of man,but human can realize and feel time,and time can be described by means of language.Time is one of the most basic categories of human cognition,in Russian phraseology there are various forms of expression of time.The object of the paper is Russian temporal idioms,as well as analyses of the semantics of Russian temporal idioms.In this paper,the concepts of "Russian idioms" and "Russian temporal idioms" are defined,and idioms are studied in the narrow sense.The theoretical basis is the study of the origin of Russian idioms,the development and the characteristic of Russian idioms.The present situation and research of domestic and foreign temporal Russian idioms are summarized.From the point of linguistics,the semantics of Russian temporal idioms,synonymy and polysemy are analyzed.Russian temporal idioms,semantics and culture of Russian temporal idioms are analyzed,which allows us to understand and use Russian idioms,as well as to enhance the understanding of Russian national culture.
