Research On Calligraphic Style Of "Epitaph Of Su XiaoCi" In The Sui Dynasty

The main object of this study is"Epitaph of Su XiaoCi" in the Sui Dynasty.According to the collection,collation and analysis on the script of the stone carving regular script in the southern and northern dynasties,the sui and the early tang dynasty,the passage discusses the causes,origin,artistic characteristics and value of this epitaph,which is in combination with author s exploration of regular script practice.Furthermore,taking "Epitaph of Su XiaoCi" as the breakthrough,the study combs the formation process of Regular script "Serious,neat and prudent handwriting " in Sui dynasty,and explores the reasons for the rapidly maturing and popularity of this kind of calligraphic style from the respect of the era.
