The psychological health of employees has always been the focus of social concern. The poor mental health of employees is not only the enemy of their own development, but also the enemy of sustainable development of organizations and society. The stress system model believes that mental health is the result of a comprehensive response to life events, personality traits, coping styles, social support, and cognitive evaluation, and that various factors are interrelated and mutually causal. In this model, the relationship between personality, coping style and mental health remains at the hypothesis stage, and empirical research has not reached a consensus. In this study,a questionnaire method was used to investigate the employees of several companies in Hangzhou and 258 valid samples were collected to explore the relationship between coping style, personality and mental health based on the stress system model. In this study, anxiety, depression and life satisfaction were used as operational indicators of mental health, and neurotic personality was used as an operational indicator of personality. The results of the study are as follows:1.The status of employees' mental health(1)Life satisfaction score ranged from 5-35 points, and the survey score was 17.57±5.65;about half of the employees have different degrees of anxiety and depression,16.28% of whom have moderate and above.Of the anxiety,24.81% of the employees had moderate or more depression.(2)The common demographic factors affecting the employees' mental health are family economic conditions.(3)Age,marriage status, number of children, and living status also affect the life satisfaction of employees: employees who are 34 years of age or older, have a stable close relationship, have children, and have their own housing, and their life satisfaction.Relatively high.2.The relationship between employee coping style, personality and mental health(1)Coping style has a significant predictive effect on personality: Negative coping can significantly predict neurotic personality, and positive coping can significantly negatively predict neurotic personality.(2)Personality has a direct effect on mental health: significant positive predictive anxiety and depression, significant negative predictive life satisfaction.(3)Personality plays an intermediary role between coping style and mental health: Neurotic personality plays an intermediary role in the relationship between active coping and anxiety and depression, and plays a mediating role in the relationship between positive coping and life satisfaction;neuroticism The relationship between negative coping and anxiety plays a role of complete mediation. It plays a role of partial mediation between negative coping and depression. The indirect effect of neuroticism between negative coping and life satisfaction is not the mediating effect but the obscuring effect.
