A Report On Simulated Interpreting Of A Date With Lu Yu

This is a report on consecutive interpreting,of A Date With Lu Yu,an high-level interview program of Phoenix Television.With strong adaptability and interpretation force,the Adaptation Theory analyses the choice of language and the dynamic nature of contextual adaptation when human use language.Since interpreting time and environment have significant influence on interpreting,it is kindly different from translating.So interpreting provides the possibility for the application of the Adaptation Theory.The author explores the guiding role of Adaptation Theory in practice of interpretation.There are five chapters in the report.Chapter one introduces the objects of the project as well as the significance of the report.Chapter two is about pre-interpretation preparation.While the third chapter is the introduction to the Adaptation Theory.Chapter four is the most important part which is about case study.And chapter five is the conclusion.The author hopes to make an meaningful study in different interview program interpretation for deeper and further research on interpretation and Adaptation Theory.
