The materials used in this practice report were interviews with Prof.Wang Bo and Professor Dermot Moran at the 2018 World Philosophy Conference. These two interviews were to discuss the status of Chinese philosophy in the world and how the world is trying to understand Chinese philosophy. The author taken out the anticipated difficulties and on-site approaches for the original language and target language recorded in the midst of the simulated consecutive interpretation. These materials do bear the normal features of interviews, with some degrees of randomness and immediacy. The author categorized the difficulties in mock interpreting into three varieties, which are the redundancy, fuzzy language and logic confusion.Combined with the Interpretive Theory and with further analysis of the difficulties, the author came up with the methods of omission, simplification and amplification for redundancy, the methods of literal interpretation and free interpretation for fuzzy language, and the methods of amplification, omission and recombination for logic confusion. The aim of this report is to provide interpreters with some operative strategies in talk show interpretation but only act as a reference,by which interpreters could allocate cognitive resource more properly so as to improve the quality and accuracy of the interpretation.
