Research On Chinese Teaching In The Confucius Institute Of The University Of Buenos Aires

Following the rapid development of the economy,China holds a key role in the world,so the need of stiding chinese language is incrissing day by day.For instance,in Argentina,although the chinese language teaching does not have more than 20 years,recently the amount of chinese language students have increased enourmusly.The Confucius Institute of Buenos Aires not only is the institute with more students in Argentina,but also with more cultural activites.TheThe objective of this thesis is to do a research of the Chinese teaching situation of the Confucious Institute of Buenos Aires University.The main research of this thesis is to determine if the materials and the methodology used in the chinese clases are adecuate for argentiean students.Also,we hope to provide some useful suggestions to the Confucious Institute of Buenos Aires University about chinese language teaching,that hopefully could be taken as a reference in every chinese language institute of latinamerica.This thesis is divided in five different chapters as follows:In the first chapter we introduce the research purpose,it's importance and the research method of this paper.The second chapter introduces the history of Chinese teaching in Argentina and and the current situation of Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute of Buenos Aires University.The third chapter conducts a comprehensive analysis of teacher interviews,student questionnaires,and classroom observations,and describes the specific situations of students,teachers,and classes in the implementation of Chinese language teaching in the Confucius Institute of Buenos Aires University.The fourth chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the Chinese teaching at the Confucius Institute of Buenos Aires University.The fifth chapter proposes teaching and development suggestions.We hope the results of this research can help to develop the Chinese language teaching of other latinamerican institutes,to improve the general Chinese language level of every country.
