| In recent years,overseas Chinese education for children has been developing vigorously.In the United States,for example,with president Obama announcing the launch of the" one million strong" initiative,Chinese language has developed in the United States.Different from the Chinese language education in Confucius classroom jointly established by Chinese government and American universities,Chinese language education for Chinese-American children has its particularity.Since they were born and lived in the United States,their first language is English and their second or even third language is Chinese,this situation makes us need to adopt different Chinese teaching methods from general foreign students also different from domestic children of the same age.The arrangement of raw characters is an important aspect of textbook compilation and design,which directly affects the students’ learning effect of Chinese characters.In this paper,the Stanford Chinese school of Dr.ma Liping compiled "Chinese" to the fourth grade to 12 volumes of all the raw characters as the research object,mainly from the teaching material of the interpretation of raw characters,the total amount of raw characters,raw character level,the reproduction rate of raw characters several aspects,through quantitative and qualitative analysis,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the set of raw characters of the teaching material,to investigate whether the teaching material of raw character system layout is reasonable.This study is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly describes the background,purpose and significance of the topic,research objects and methods,previous research results and the theoretical basis of this study;The second part is the main part of the article,which makes statistics and analysis on the style,quantity,difficulty and repetition rate of the characters in volume 1-12 of ma Liping’s Chinese textbook.The third part is the opinions and suggestions for overseas Chinese teaching materials and overseas Chinese classroom.The fourth part summarizes the whole thesis. |
