This paper is a translation report based on the translation practice of the Chapter VII and Chapter VIII of The Impact of Parental Involvement,Parental Support and Family Education on Pupil Achievements and Adjustment: A Literature Review,a survey report by Charles Telford,a well-known professor in the field of pedagogy in the UK.The main content of this review is to explore the impact of parental involvement on pupils' academic performance and behavior adjustment.The literature lists a large number of projects and plans for parental participation in school education in British history.He tries to find the evidence that parents have a positive impact on children's grades from these projects.This report covers the whole process of this translation practice.It analyzes individual cases and common problems in translation practice by adopting methods such as literal translation,part-of-speech conversion,word-adding and sentence restructuring in translation strategies.Based on the Skopos theory of German functionalism,this translation practice studies and summarizes this translation task from the perspective of translation practice report.The purpose of this translation practice is to improve author's translation,summarize translation skills,and rethink the questions summarized in the report.
