Picasso's artistic status is obvious to all of us.He is also one of the most popular western artist.Throughout Picasso's artistic life,his works,his women,his wealth,and his life were surrounded by all kinds of legendary stories.But few people noticed that he manages his own artistic career by shrewd strategies,and spares no effort for establish various relationships between his art and art market or business to create topics and aura,the motivation of all this is his instinctively awareness that a successful artist is also a successful marketing manager,and he realized reasonable market management can bring himself great value.Therefore,we should see that the market strategy plays an important role in the construction of Picasso's artistic careers.This paper reviews the artistic development process of Picasso,and analyzes Picasso's motivation of marketing artistic career,thus there is a research how Picasso quickly established his artistic status by various market management strategies,and achieve success from art to business.This paper focuses on the analysis of dividing period of Picasso's art market,summing up Picasso market business strategies from the marketing perspective,then it emphasizes the process of Picasso's active management in the art market,and the purpose of this paper is that Picasso's marketing artistic career as a typical case bring some inspiration and help to today's artists and artistic administrator.At the same time,discussing the behavior of the artist from the perspective of market management,which may also provide new thinking for interdisciplinary research of art.
