"nature Instead Of The God": The Study On The Ethical Thought Of Wang Bi

Wang Bi,a famous philosopher in Wei and Jin Dynasties,though his life is very short,his academic achievements are excellent.His whole ethical and moral theory is a process of seeking "nature" instead of "god",aims to establish a new metaphysical basis for moral origin,which is "nature".In order to help the fragmented " the Confucian ethical code" established a new metaphysical basis at that time.Since Dong Zhongshu constructed the theory of " god-human induction " and supported the social moral system of " the three cardinal guides and the five constant ",social thought has gradually developed in the direction of tedious,obscure and mysterious.It has lost its due ability in the integration of social order and value guidance,so it has been widely questioned.However,the introduction of Buddhism and the rise of Taoism have made the social value system collapse.Wang Bi inherited by Liu Biao and Wang Can as the representative of the "Jingzhou school" and "broken things like on the academic spirit of metaphysics".He pointed to the essence of "the name teaching" through the method of " obtaining the significance and forgetting the words " and tried to reconstruct the moral origin for " the Confucian ethical code " through the way of "helping the Taoism into the Confucianism".Although this effort ended in failure,it explored the road to the fusion of foreign Buddhist culture and Chinese traditional culture,and also played an important role in the development of Neo Confucianism in the later song and Ming Dynasties.Therefore,to explore the ethical concept of Wang Bi and to explore the methodology of his philosophical thought and the multidimensional nature of his thoughts,which he established in the process of pursuing moral origin,not only can clearly clarify the academic context of the ethics theory in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,but also deeply understand the origin of the development of the Neo Confucianism.At the same time,we can understand the value basis of social order.Under the circumstances of the society at that time,Wang Bi tried to explore the original morality of the morality,and let us feel that we should maintain a positive attitude in the establishment of social order,at the same time,we can draw the essence from the existing cultural resources and theories,and provide the spirit of rethinking resources for the future generations.From the social realities of the Wei and Jin Dynasties,including the political,social stratum and thought,and the integration of various practical factors,this paper explores questions such as Wang Bi’s aim of seeking the new moral original of "nature" instead of "god",the development of the thought and the influence of the whole Jin Dynasty metaphysics.
