The healthy growth of young people is related to the future development of the country and the prosperity of the nation. The "2014 National Physical Fitness Monitoring Bulletin" report shows that although the national health status has improved, there are still many problems, especially the decline in the health of the youth.Under intense social competition, adolescent students are facing tremendous academic pressure, leading to a lack of improvement in their subjective well-being and a low level of self-acceptance.Faced with this situation,it is an important issue to attach great importance to the physical and mental health of young people. As a sport integrating sports and art, sports dance is worthy of in-depth discussion on the physical and mental health of adolescents. In this study,126 students from Xingzhi Experimental Middle School in Shanghai were divided into experimental group(n=63)and control group(n=63)using experimental method and questionnaire survey for 16 weeks and 3 times per week. The 90-minute dance sports exercise intervention, the control group only completed the school physical education class. Before and after the intervention, the participants were measured twice for cardiopulmonary function, muscle strength and muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.Subjects were also assessed before and after the SCL-90 Symptom Checklist, subjective well-being scale, and self-esteem.Tables and self-acceptance questionnaires were tested and analyzed by mathematical statistics. The results of the study showed that: 1)The systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, quiet heart rate, and vital capacity were improved to a certain extent in the experimental group and the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups.2)Compared with the control group, the left and right grip strength of the experimental group increased compared with the control group, but there was no significant difference;the left grip strength and right grip strength index of the control group increased compared with that before the experiment(P<0.01);the experimental group The index of grip strength in right hand increased significantly(P<0.01).The number of chins in the experimental group increased after the experiment and showed a significant difference(P<0.01).3)Compared with the control group, the experimental group showed significant improvement in the index of forward flexion(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the control group.4)Adolescents in the control group gained weight and the BMI index increased;there was no significant difference in height and weight between the experimental group and the BMI index after the experiment.5)The scores of factors such as somatization, depression, and sleep diets in the experimental group showed a significant downward trend compared with that before the experiment(P<0.05);the experimental group was in forcing, interpersonal relationships, paranoia, psychotic indicators and total scores The scores were significantly lower than those before the experiment(P<0.01);however,the control subjects did not show significant differences before and after the experiment.6)The scores of life satisfaction and well-being of the experimental group increased compared with those before the experiment, and there was a significant difference(P<0.01).The overall emotional factor of the control group increased compared with that before the experiment, showing a significant difference.(P<0.01);After the experiment, the index of happiness index of the control group increased compared with that before the experiment, showing a significant difference(P<0.05);the control group had no significant difference in the life satisfaction factor.7)The experimental group's self-acceptance factor,self-evaluation factor, and self-acceptance scale score increased compared with that before the experiment, showing a significant difference(P <0.01);controlgroup in the self-acceptance factor and self-acceptance scale The scores of the scores were improved to some extent compared with those after the experiment(P<0.01).The scores of the self-evaluation factors before and after the experiment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01).8)The self-esteem of the experimental group increased significantly after the experiment(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the control group.Dance sports can effectively promote the healthy development of young people's physical and mental health, especially for the improvement of mental health of adolescents. The impact on physical health is mainly reflected in improving the heart and lung function of adolescents and increasing muscle strength, especially in improving the flexibility of the body and improving muscle strength.Mental health can effectively relieve young people's tensions in learning, depression and other emotions, and improve the level of psychological quality;cultivate youth's active and healthy personality and make them more adept at accepting oneself;enhance self-adjustment and promote interpersonal communication;Promote the subjective well-being of young people and improve their self-esteem.Therefore,regular participation in sports dance exercise is conducive to the promotion of the physical and mental health of young people. It plays an important role in the reform of quality education in schools.
