With society's progress,the idea of lifelong sports is accepted by the masses,and to pursue health becomes the common goal of mankind,and people pay more and more attention to physical training.Exercise can not only enhance physical fitness,but also obtain spiritual satisfaction.Middle-aged women participate in moderate amount of physical activities,which can reduce stress of family life,expand interpersonal communication,strengthen social contacts,maintain good health and delay the aging of the body.Sports dance is a sports-project integrating art and fitness,and the full-body movement characteristics can improve the physical quality,regulate the state of mind and shape graceful appearance.It not only can enhance the physical health of middle-aged women but also meet their psychological needs.It is a sports exercise program suitable for middle-aged women.In this study,60 middle-aged women were selected as experimental subject,and they were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,30 per group.The daily life of the control group remained the same,and the experimental group did not participate in any other physical exercise except for sports dance.With survey,experimental method,qualitative research method,mathematical statistics method.etcafter consulting relevant literature materials,the experimental group participate in systematic sports dance training 2 times a week for 12 weeks.Then physiological indexes and mental health statuses before and after the experiment were measured and analyzed,and finally the effects of sports dance on middle-aged women was evaluated comprehensively.The experiment results showed:(1)After the experiment period of sports dance intervention,the middle-aged women in the experimental group showed significant improvement in various morphological indicators,which indicated that physical dance could effectively improve the body shape of middle-aged women,and make middle-aged women feel more healthy and graceful;(2)After regular sports dance intervention,the experimental group showed improvement in heart rate,blood pressure and respiratory function,indicating that physical dance exercise could effectively improve the body function of middle-aged women and improve their ability of cardiopulmonary repair;(3)after the experiment period of sports dance intervention,the middle-aged women in the experimental group increased their grip strength with varying degrees,and the body flexion index of "sit and reach" was improved,and the response balance ability was improved,and the overall body function was enhanced,which all indicated that middle-aged women participated in sports dance exercise was conducive to enhancing the physical quality;(4)after the experiment period of sports dance intervention,middle-aged women in the experimental group who had different levels of improvement in psychological aspects,such as eased bad mood and significantly improved interpersonal relationship,and through interviews,it was found that the feeling of middle-aged women in"self-acceptance," interpersonal relationship " changed,indicating that the mental health status of middle-aged women tended to be positive,and negative emotional indicators decreased significantly,and positive emotions were significantly increased,and interpersonal relationship was positively improved.To sum up,the effects of fitness and mental health for sports dance were significant,indicating that it is a sport suitable for middle-aged women.Therefore,it is significant to spread and popularize among middle-aged women.
