Study On The Creation Of Fantasy Themed Character Sculpture

With the increasing influence of various fantasy works in the world,many sculptures of fantasy theme characters have entered the field of vision.As an important part of the fantasy industrial chain,while obtaining more financial returns,it also played a supportive role for literature,film and television,games and other related industries.This article first studies the fantasy literature,film and television,games and other fields,analyzes its relationship with the sculptures of fantasy theme figures,clarifies the concept of fantasy theme sculpture,defines its category,and discusses its current market value.Secondly,it studies the sculptures of fantasy themed figures in China and finds out that it has the advantages of high market acceptance,strong professionalism and rich traditional culture,but at the same time,it has the disadvantages of overly imitation,lack of originality,dependence on foreign original roles and insufficient excavation of traditional culture.Then it studies the more mature sculptures of fantasy subjects in the world,analyzes the excavation of the cultural connotation of each country,the processing of the realistic modeling elements,the varied artistic styles and the mature creative techniques.And then put forward the idea of ??sculptures of fantasy theme figures: from the aspects of strengthening the connotation of literature,absorbing and utilizing the realistic elements,and developing synergistically with other industries.Finally,combining with few pieces of my works to illustrate the ideas and methods of creating fantasy themed sculpture.
