Relying on the Internet,internet novels have become an important literary form.The communication features including popularity,diversification,individuality and interactivity have been attracting a large number of netizens to read,and transforming into the film and televison works that are boarded on the screen.With the successful combination of internet novels and those dramas and the increasing emphasis on the protection of intellectual property by the cultural industy,the adapation of film and TV dramas by internet novels has turned into an important subject in the field of the research on creation and communication.From the appearance of the first work to the success its won,the adapation in the field of TV series has become increasingly mature.In the background of cultural consumption,consumers' intention has been considered as the major power to promote the development of market.Based on the target of young audiences,the youth idol dramas which are adapted by the internet novels present a highly commecial and academic value of genre with highly-talked involved.The author would like to take the youth idol dramas adapted from internet novels as the object of study,aiming at analyzing the features and communication strategies of this type of art.Also,some thoretical suggestion for the future development is provided.The first part of introduction gives a clear explanation of the research reasons,significance,methods and innovative points about this thesis,and summarizes some relevant documents.The second chapter focused on the analyzation of typological features in the adapation of youth idol dramas from the perspective of static description in theme selection,plot setting,characterization,and image expression,and dynamic rewriting in cross-media part.Based on the communication theory,the third chapter explores the communication strategy of youth idol dramas infrom the perspective of communication content,audience participation,cross-media communication and integrated marketing communication.in the background of meida convergenc.Besides,the part of conclusion summarizes the whole research and puts forward some suggestion to the innovation and development of youth idol dramas.
