Non-fiction Literature Research From The Perspective Of Reception Theory

In recent years,"non-fiction" has gradually become a global writing fashion and non-fiction works have also continued to sell well,which challenges the theoretical research of non-fiction literature.This thesis takes non-fiction literature of China since the 21st century as the research object and is written in the perspective of acceptance theory to explore the profound changes in the current literary acceptance activities brought by non-fiction literature and the theoretical value it embodies.The first chapter reviews the background of "non-fiction" and defines the concept of"non-fiction".The emergence of American non-fiction novel is related to the rise of new journalism.The turbulent social reality and the rise of mass electronic media are important social reasons.In addition to the above reasons,the rapid development of non-fiction literature in China since the 21st century should also be attributed to the prevalence of popular culture and the development needs of literature itself.Based on the analysis between non-fiction literature and other types of documentary literature,this thesis tries to define the concept of non-fiction literature:a kind of narrative literature features personal experience as the core and characterized by describing "presence" and"intervention"."Non-fiction" should not be narrowly interpreted as a style,but a narrative strategy,writing posture,and new literary possibilities.The second chapter analyzes the profound influence of non-fiction literature on readers' reading process and results in detail from three perspectives:literary acceptance concept,literary acceptance content and literary appreciation methods.The emergence of a large number of non-fiction literature has further strengthened the opposition between fictional and non-fictional literature,and the traditional standard of genre classification has begun to fade.Readers show a quest for a live-feeling reading experience and a reading preference for a life narrative on the reading content,and then they show a strong sense of reading pictures and a phenomenon of fragmented reading,fragmentation logic in reading habits and ways of appreciation.The third chapter reflects on non-fiction literature and elaborates the development dilemma of non-fiction literature in China in the 21st century.The current development of non-fictional literature mainly has the following three problems:the lack of ideological content,the serious tendency of literary consumption,and the small space of literary possibilities.The continuous development of non-fiction literature still needs to rely on the continuous improvement of excellent creative practice and theoretical research.In short,in the study of China's non-fiction literature in the 21st century,it is not difficult to find that non-fiction literature has influenced the direction of contemporary literature development with a subversive literary concept and acceptance reality,both in terms of literary acceptance content and literary appreciation methods.And the non-fiction literature also shows that it becomes more affinity with the mass media such as the Internet and television.These new features not only enrich the theoretical resources for literary acceptance,but also provide important inspiration for contemporary Chinese literary creation.
