Rhetorical question is a very important form of interrogative question in Chinese,which is very common in both spoken and written language.And it is an unavoidable problem for foreign students when they learn Chinese.Because of the variety of rhetorical questions and the high degree of dependence on context,the situation is more complicated,so it is also a difficult point for foreign students to learn Chinese.Classroom teaching is the most important way for students to learn Chinese,and for listening teaching,the students need to quickly perceive and understand the information in the listening audio,therefore it is more difficult.Listening teaching is often limited,which also increases the difficulty of listening teaching.Therefore,it is a difficult problem for teachers of foreign language to think and solve the question of how to better carry out the teaching of Chinese listening.This article takes the rhetorical question as the core of listening teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and studies it from six aspects.In the first chapter,the introduction part explains the source,purpose and significance of the topic,analyses the present situation of the research on rhetorical question and the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and introduces the research object and method of this paper.Secondly,the second chapter gives a detailed definition of rhetorical questions,summarizing several common structural types of rhetorical questions,which is very important to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The third chapter analyzes and generalizes the semantic connotation and pragmatic value of rhetorical questions in two aspects.The actual meaning of rhetorical questions is opposite to its superficial meaning,which means that the rhetorical question is "negation" and its most important value is the emotional color of the speaker.The fourth chapter analyzes the acquisition situation of the primary students' rhetorical questions through extracurricular communication,data collection and classroom listening test,which is mainly about the perception,judgment and understanding of rhetorical questions.and the difficulties of studying in foreign students' rhetorical questions,and puts forward feasible teaching suggestions.In the fifth chapter,on the basis of the above theoretical achievements,the paper gives the concrete rhetorical question listening teaching design,and puts it into practice,and makes feedback and reflection to the effect of practice.The sixth chapter evaluates and explains the whole of this article,and points out the innovation and deficiency of this paper.
