Sleep quality is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of individual life.It not only affects people's mental health, but also is closely related to the occurrence of many diseases.Compared with ordinary people, college students have shorter sleep time and worse sleep quality. At the same time, about two-thirds of college students can be classified as perfectionists who are facing pressure from the fast pace of life and other aspects in the colleges. Therefore, college students not only have to deal with learning knowledge and skills, but also need a higher resilience to regulate their physical and mental health.Based on previous studies, college students generally suffer from poor sleep quality and are prone to be perfectionists.Nevertheless, resilience can,to some extent, have some impacts on perfectionism and sleep quality.Hence, this thesis will explore the relationship between perfectionism, resilience and sleep quality further. The simple random sampling method, specifically, was used to select 600 college students to conduct the questionnaire survey. The final valid questionnaire was 502 participants. The Chinese version of the Frost Perfectionism Scale(CFMPS),the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale in Chinese version(CD-RISC)were used. The survey findings show that(1)college students have a higher degree of perfectionism,in which the tendency of positive perfectionism is in a upper middle level, the trend of negative perfectionism is in a lower middle level, meanwhile, the level of college students' resilience is generally upper middle;25.9%of college students have problems of sleep quality in this survey.(2)There are significant differences in the factors of perfectionism, resilience, and sleep quality among college students in urban and rural areas, gender, grade, and different monthly living expenses. To be more specifically, compared with the male college students, the female tend to have higher degree of perfectionism, lower level of resilience, and less hypnotic medications;sophomores feel more expectations from parents than freshmen, seniors, and graduate students, while generally speaking the sleep quality of freshmen is much better.Students who have above ?1500 monthly for living, are relatively less concerned abouoptimistic, and they have shorter sleep time while using more hypnotic drugs,t mistakes, personal standards and more compared with those having below ? 1500 monthly.(3)There was a significant correlation between college students' perfectionism, resilience and sleep quality. The positive perfectionism positively predicts the sleep quality, and negative perfectionism does negatively. The higher the resilience, the better the sleep quality. The positive perfectionism and psychological resilience also show a significant positive correlation.(4)Resilience plays a role of complete mediation between positive perfectionism and sleep quality, which means that positive perfectionism has a positive predictive effect on sleep quality through mental toughness.(5)Resilience plays a role in the doubt of action and the sleep quality.which means that improving resilience can reduce the negative impact of the doubt of action on the sleep quality.
