Sleep is very important in human life, but a lot of factors interfere with our sleep quality, and the sleep problems are more serious in college today. In this research, the college students was studied for exploring the influence of coping style on sleep quality. First, the relationship among coping style, life events, sleep quality was deeply studied by questionnaire survey. second, colleted 10 college students who has poor sleep quality for group psychology counseling, with another 10 students who has similar status for comparison, the object of counseling is improving the coping style of 10 participants, and then make them more satisfied with sleep quality of themselves. some important conclusions were suggested:(1) Sleep quality of college students was influenced by life events and coping style. Life event and negative coping style make their sleep quality worse, while the positive coping style make them to sleep better. self-accusation'influence is more heavily than other kind of coping style.(2) Rational-emotive therapy is effective in group psychology counseling which aimed for improving coping style.(3) The improvement of coping style prompted sleep quality in college student.
