The Relationship Between University Students' Nostalgia And Perceived Social Support And Its Intervention Study

In recent years,nostalgia is no longer a subjective emotion that is full of sadness.But as a kind of psychological resources,play a regulatory role to individual psychological health,the research emphasis on the nostalgic psychology is gradually at discussing the psychological function of nostalgia to its role to the promotion of interpersonal relationship.Previous studies have shown that nostalgia can enhance the sense of social connectedness and self-esteem of individuals,and play an important role in the personal and social motivations and social needs of individuals.From the transition from student to society,college students are faced with many changes at this stage.They started the independent life,at the same time,they need to establish a relationship with the outside world,to support their increasing needs of independent,can get enough support is very important for college students of all early adulthood.This kind of support is not only an objective social support,but also an important part of the support power that individual subjectively can perceive.Understanding the ability of social support has a beneficial effect on individual mental health.To study college students' nostalgic psychology and comprehend the relationship between social support,grasp the nostalgic psychology influence on social support ability,collected from 447 college students,this study used road,east China normal university,establishment of the localization of nostalgic scale to measure(a),24 volunteers recruitment,implementation of awaken the participants actively nostalgia group guidance experiment(study 2).Through research findings:(1)college students' nostalgic psychological level and comprehension of social support ability are generally on the high side.(2)there is a significant difference in the level of nostalgia of college students in grade,source of origin,whether they are single or in love.The rural group was significantly higher than the urban group,and the non-singleton family was significantly more nostalgic than the only child,and the relationship group was significantly higher than the single group.There was no significant difference in gender,professional category,and family structure.(3)college students understand social support ability,and there are significant differences in gender,grade and family structure.Girls were significantly higher than boys,and parents were significantly higher than non-parents.There is no significant difference in the professional category,the origin,the only child,the relationship status.(4)there is a significant correlation between the total score of college students' nostalgicpsychology and their understanding of social support;The scores of each dimension of nostalgia and the comprehension of social support have different degrees of correlation.(5)the family nostalgia dimension scores of college students' nostalgia can predict social support ability.(6)nostalgic theme group counseling can significantly improve college students' nostalgic psychological tendency and understanding social support.
