The cultural exchange between China and Japan is of long history,and the traditional Chinese philosophy has a profound influence on the development of Japanese philosophy,economy and literature.In the foreign cultural field of the Han Dynasty,Japan is the most striking country in the study of Chinese.The annotation of Hxun Tzu in Japan and the cross-cultural communication are of great research value.Ogyu Sorai was influenced by the ancient prose ci advocated by Li Panlong and Wang Shizhen in Ming Dynasty.Later he became the main representative of the "ancient prose school" in the Edo period of Japan.He first paid attention to and annotated Hxun Tzu,which was written as Read Hxun Tzu.His emphasis on etiquette and music,righteousness and profit were taken into account.The philosophy thought of Taoist sage and so on is in the same line with Hxun Tzu.This article takes Ogyu Sorai and his work Read Hxun Tzu as the research object and is divided into five parts: The first chapter of this thesis describes the research trends of domestic and international studies.The second chapter mainly introduces the life of the Confucian scholars in the Edo period of Japan and the important value of his works Read Hxun Tzu.Chapter three contrasts and corrects some notes in Hxun Tzu and Hxun Tzu Notes in Sorai and Yang Liang,The fourth chapter mainly analyzes and discusses the type and method of explanation of Hxun Tzu.The fifth chapter discusses the cross-cultural communication of Hxun Tzu in Japan from the perspective of cultural communication and the influence of Hxun Tzu on modern Japan.
