In recent years,there has been a lot of unethical leader behavior that cause serious injury to the organization,which has aroused the scholars' attention to the ethical leadership.Most of the existing researches focus on the outcomes of ethical leadership.Research shows that ethical leadership have many good effects on both enterprises and employees,while the research about the influencing factors of ethical leadership is still limited.This paper based on the self-regulation theory,to explore the effect of ego depletion and work stress on ethical leadership,and verify the influence of ethical leadership on the employee performance,and the mediating role of ethical leadership.This paper is divided into two studies.First,revise the ethical leadership scale.The results show that the ethical leadership scale has good reliability and validity,and can be applied to empirical research.Study two uses empirical research methods,through the questionnaire survey nationwide,collect leaders and subordinates paired data,using SPSS22.0 and HLM18.0 statistical software for correlation and regression analysis,draw the conclusion:(1)work stress plays a regulation role in the influence of the ego depletion and ethical leadership;(2)ethical leadership has a positive effect on the employee performance;(3): ethical leadership plays a mediating role in the influence of the ego depletion and work stress on the employee performance.The conclusion of this study is discussed and explained,which has a certain theoretical and practical value.Finally,the shortcomings and future research directions are explained.
