In recent years,China’s enterprises are in the critical period of reform.How to build high-performance work systems within enterprises is the goal that human resource managers have been pursuing.Therefore,research on high-performance work systems is also increasing.Most previous studies have explored the relationship between high-performance work systems and job performance within the organization.Under the Chinese management context that values interpersonal relationships,studying the relationship between high-performance work systems and employee well-being has a higher management connotation.Research topics of practical value.Furthermore,paid employment is a basic part of adult life.It contains about one-third of a person’s life experience,and is an important source for developing identity,establishing interpersonal relationships,and ensuring happiness.In view of this,it is necessary to test the ways in which high-performance work systems can enhance employees’ work experience,in order to obtain a greater sense of purpose,meaning,and ultimately happiness.Therefore,this paper comprehensively considers the marginal role of high-performance work systems and employee happiness from the perspective of employee perception.Specifically,it analyzes the mediating role of meeting basic psychological needs in high-performance work systems and employee well-being,and the moderating role of leadership styles(charismatic leadership style and pragmatic leadership style)in highperformance work systems and employee well-being.This paper mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method and retrieves a total of 391 valid questionnaires.Using statistical methods such as confirmatory factor analysis,correlation analysis,hierarchical regression analysis,and Bootstrap test for bias correction,The result is as follows:(1)The high-performing work management system perceived by employees is significantly positively related to employee well-being.(2)The basic psychological needs play a part of the mediating role between the employee’s perceived high-performance work system and employee happiness.(3)Leadership style regulates the relationship between employee-perceived highperformance work systems and employee well-being;specifically,the higher the level of charismatic leadership style,the stronger the positive relationship between employeeperceived high-performance work systems and employee happiness;The higher the level of leadership style,the stronger the positive relationship between the employee’s perceived highperformance work system and employee happiness. |
