"Reading to write" is an important and practical teaching strategy which is widely used in the English writing teaching.In junior high school English teaching,the practical writing is a kind of important article genre that the junior high school students need to grasp firmly and apply flexibly.Reading and writing in practical articles are two basic contents which are interdependent and inseparable in English teaching.English teachers should create conditions and make full use of the relationship between reading and writing to serve English writing teaching practice."Reading to write" teaching strategy has set up a bridge which combines the reading and writing parts.It's an effective strategy for English teachers to promote their teaching level of writing and to improve students' performance of writing.However,it is undeniable that no one can obtain optimal teaching effectiveness by rote and mechanically applying.Therefore,in order to achieve the best teaching effectiveness in the teaching practice,English teachers need to exert the wisdom of teaching according to teaching principles,so that "Reading to write" teaching strategy can be designed reasonably and implemented effectively.This study aimed at a significant research question,that is,"How should teachers design 'Reading to write'teaching strategy reasonably and implement it effectively in the English teaching practice of junior high school?".Based on this question,this research analyzed the basic status of "Reading to write" from three dimensions which are "reading before writing","reading to write" and "post reading writing".And the research found and concluded some existing problems and contradictions in the process of teaching design and implementation.Then the research put forward the prerequisites of design as well as the fundamental principles of reasonable design and effective implementation.Under the guidance of two basic theory,Krashen "Input Hypothesis" and Swain "Output Hypothesis",this research has collected and collated information on the present situation and existing problems of the design and implementation in "Reading to write" strategy by means of real classroom observation and interview on Changchun M junior high school.Furthermore,this research has tested the basic procedure,concluded basic characteristics and found out existing problems of "Reading to write" strategy.Based on the study of the existing problems in the design and implementation of "Reading to write" strategy,combining with the teaching theory and practice,this research put forward the prerequisites of design as well as the fundamental principles of reasonable design and effective implementation.The prerequisites include: Targets have been identified;Prior knowledge has been identified(through the analysis of relationship between subordinate skills);The presentation order of teaching content has been identified;the content of teach has determined(teaching analysis has analyzed the knowledge and skills);the test to learning goals has properly arranged.The basic principles of reasonable design include: starting from the teaching goal;conforming to the teaching rules and principles;basing on a certain theoretical guidance;in line with the learning content;conforming to the characteristics of learners;considering characteristics of strategy itself;considering teachers' subjective conditions.Basic principles of effective implementation include the following three aspects: teaching principles,learning principles,and the principles of teaching practice(principles of reading before writing,reading to write and post reading writing).
